Ofev 150mg capsules are for the treatment of lung conditions involving fibrosis, where scar tissue builds up for you.

Primary Uses:

Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF): Ofev is primarily used for adults with IPF, a chronic and progressive lung disease characterized by scarring in the lungs. It helps slow down the worsening of IPF and improve lung function.

Chronic Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) with a Progressive Phenotype: Ofev is also approved for adults with other chronic progressive ILDs showing similar characteristics as IPF, where fibrosis is actively worsening lung function.

Off-Label Uses:

While not officially approved, Ofev is sometimes used off-label for other conditions with similar fibrotic processes, such as:

Systemic Sclerosis-associated Interstitial Lung Disease (SSc-ILD)
